It allows for teachers to integrate as much online inteaction is they wish. There are standard Modules which provide a course calander, assignment area, glossary, forum, chat, wiki, quiz survey, and lessons area. Moodle Moodle

It took me forever to figure out how to install this! I could not get my localhost on my computer to run. All I wanted to do was check some things out and browse around.

Turns out is is fairly simple...I just needed to click the start button. HA!

There is a package you can install which also install a server. Make sure you have enough space on your computer to do so. Moodle is actually quite interesting. Moodle is a freeware online course tool, and it allows you to set up course information much like Blackboard or previously WebCT. It is extremely user friendly and would provide a guide for many high shool students entering into the college world, espically if they were to take an online class.
